Join us for a Halloween tour of history & mystery along the Long Island City/Astoria waterfront! This annual walk with NYC Sightseeing Guide & Greater Astoria Historical Society member Richard Melnick will take place along the East River, as tales are told of those lost long ago among the churning whirlpools & electric eels! Learn history & howl! MEET @ NOON: under the Hell Gate Bridge (Shore & Ditmars Blvds.) Length of tour: approx. 2.5 hours. ENDS at: Socrates Sculpture Park's "Halloween Harvest Fest" (Broadway & Vernon Blvds.) where GAHS will have a table of books & information!
