About Astoria Live

Hello, Astoria!

Astoria is vibrant, creative, multicultural and a lot of fun. Astoria Live brings together the events, groups and happenings that make it that way, all in one place: this website, our Instagram (opens in a new tab) and a weekly email newsletter.

We want to make it easier for Astorians to connect in real life, and to support the small businesses, artists and organizations that make our neighborhood special.

What we’re here to do

• Foster community connection by sharing local events and groups.
• Support neighborhood businesses, creators, artists and nonprofits.
• Share information about local elections and news that affects our neighborhood.

About the founder

Hi, I’m Stacey. I moved to Astoria ten years ago and fell in love with the community here, so I started Astoria Live in 2016 to bring it all together in one place.

When I’m not posting to Instagram or wandering the neighborhood, you can find me volunteering with the 31st Ave Open Street (opens in a new tab) and working as a Product Design Lead (opens in a new tab).
